The Da Vinci is a symbol for the rebirth of IWC in the 80’s. When this model was introduced in 1985 they choose this name because the shape of the case was based on a sketch of four concentric circles by Leonardo Da Vinci. The case with the four concentric circles is replaced for a elegant tonneau shape for the ref. IW3761-02, which is done in red gold and features the 'digital' perpetual calendar chronograph movement.
