The ref. 6152-1 was made for the Italian navy and can be found either with or without the signature crown guard. Their dials can be signed with either Radiomir, Luminor or Marina Militare as the one pictured. Approx. 600 pieces were produced in total.

The Radiomir 3646 was first presented to the Italian naval forces around 1938 and they are among the first divers watches ever made. The case measures 47mm across and is made of stainless steel. It is estimated a little under 1.300 units were ever produced.
The present model is fitted with a so-called 'California' dial. It was sold by Christies in 2013....

The Panerai 3646 was created at the request of the Royal Italian Navy. The first production examples were delivered at the end of the 1930's.
The present model has a sterile dial, leading to the assumption that it was created for German Navy Special Forces. It was offered for sale by Christie's in 2013....
