Unique in its composition vividly evoking moon craters, this display presents the lunar phases thanks to a mask system symbolising the dance of the sun and the earth, and is endowed with a level of precision resulting in a mere one-day difference in 122 years – which explains why this moon-phase indication is referred to as “astronomical”.
